Extended Borrowing in February

February is the month of revision, exams and consolidation, and the Library offers extended loan periods to students throughout this period:-

• From Wednesday 10 February, any Standard Loan item borrowed will be due for return on Monday 1 March.
• Short Loan (3 Hour) and Reference Only items will remain as normal.
• The Maximum Borrowing limit will remain at 5 items per student.
• Any item not renewed or returned by Monday 1 March will become overdue and subject to library fees.

The Library’s opening hours will remain as normal during February:-

• Monday-Thursday: 8.30am-8.00pm
• Friday: 8.30am-6.00pm
• Saturday-Sunday: 12.00pm-5.00pm

Please also remember that the Library and the Library Extension are Silent Study Areas.  This is particularly important during the revision and exam period.

Loans during Consolidation Week

February 9 – 13 is Consolidation Week.  Although we are open as usual, any books borrowed during this period will be due back on Monday 16 February at the earliest.  So students will in fact have their books for longer than usual.
