Dear students: This is just a quick reminder that the LexisNexis Student Associate scheme is still up and running in 2009. Now that all the mocks and real exams are out of the way (for the time being!) you may want to brush up on your legal research skills in order to improve for whatever examination you have to take next. So, if you have any queries about the use of LexisNexis Butterworth’s please send an email to lexisnexislawcollbham@live.co.uk  and you will be sent some advice asap! Also note that another competition will be set up over the coming weeks, so that you can get your hands on some more LexisNexis merchandise. All details will be posted on the Library blog and sent to your College email accounts.

WIN PRIZES BY HELPING LEXISNEXIS BUTTERWORTH’S TO HELP YOU…

What do you hate most about legal research? Is it that you can never find that case? Or is it that it takes forever to search through your 500 search results?

Well, you can help solve your own problems …

The LexisNexis Student Associate scheme is asking College of Law Birmingham students to submit their most hated legal research tasks to lexisnexislawcollbham@live.co.uk throughout November.

All entrants will receive some LexisNexis Butterworth’s merchandise – ranging from notebooks and pens to post-it note tabs and squeezy cow stress balls!

Once the submissions have been collated … all your queries will be answered, either through personal advice via email or monthly tips placed on the plasma screens around College.

Also note all of your queries will be sent to LexisNexis HQ – so all of your stresses will be heard at the highest level!
