The Library will be running a series of Introduction to Printed Legal Research workshops. The workshops are designed to support GDL students with their Legal Method, but they are open to all students who wish to attend.
The workshop will include a demonstration of Halsbury’s Laws, Halsbury’s Statutes, and Current Law. Students will also have the opportunity to practice using the resources, with support from the Information Officer.
Introduction to Printed Legal Research workshop will be running at the following times and dates:
- 2.00pm-3.00pm Tuesday 7 October
- 11.00am-12.00pm Wednesday 8 October
- 2.00pm-3.00pm Wednesday 8 October
- 2.00pm-3.00pm Thursday 9 October
- 3.30pm-4.30pm Wednesday 15 October
The workshops are voluntary, but places are limited to 20 students per session. If you would like to attend a workshop, please contact the library to sign up. You can contact the library in person, or by telephone (01483 216041) or email (library.brm@lawcol.co.uk).
Please note that only students who sign up can attend the workshop. Also, students who sign up, are expected to attend workshops, or give notice of cancellation, so that their place may be offered to another.
