The library will be running sessions on researching journals and newspapers in the first week of February.  The idea is that after you’ve handed in your PfP1, those of you who may want to get some additional research advice in advance of preparing for your PfP2 will be able to do so by signing up for one of these sessions.  They’ll only be around 40 minutes in length and will be run on the basis of interest.  For part-time students only I will be willing to put on an evening session depending on numbers.

The purpose of this post is to find out how many are interested and when would be the best time to run the sessions.  If you can express your interest by Friday 23 January I’ll post confirmed session times for you to sign-up to in the week beginning 26 January.

Email me at natasha.skeen@lawcol.co.uk stating preferred day of the week and whether you’d prefer an a.m. or p.m. time slot.  Please be aware that session times will be arranged to suit the majority so apologies in advance if we can’t accommodate you.

Remember: Citing journals and newspapers shows your lecturers that you’re taking more than a minimal interest in your subject and not just sticking to the core texts/cases/legislation.
