Resit Students have the following access to the Library and Computers at the Birmingham Centre:-
Reference Only access to the Library from 1 October 2010 for any student resitting assessments or examinations in 2011.
Library borrowing rights will only be granted to resit students in exceptional circumstances, where their resit assessment or examination has a key legal research element, for example:-
- Any student resitting exams or assessments as a 1st attempt
- GDL student resitting PfP I or II assessments
- LPC student resitting PLR assessment
- BPTC student resitting opinion writing assessment
- Student with a relevant learning support contract
Students should apply to the Information Officer for library borrowing rights using the Birmingham Library Resit Policy. All borrowing rights are granted at the Information Officers discretion. Applications may be refused if the student has a poor library record, for example:- unpaid library fees. Applications normally take 3 working days to be processed.
Access to Centre IT facilities from 1 October 2010 for any student resitting assessments or examinations in 2011.
- Login to PCs with student number and computer password
- Printing available using College ID card or student number / computer password
Printing credit is carried forward from previous academic studies. Resit students may purchase top-ups from the library when their printing credit runs out.
