New for this academic year are the i-Guides; a series of 7 podcasts designed to answer a number of legal research questions, from “Starting Paper Research” to “Researching EC Law”.
These short introductions (all under 10 minutes) allow you to learn at your own pace either from scratch or use them as a refresher. At the end of each one you have the opportunity to test your understanding in a ‘test and feedback’ type way.
GDL students you’ve already been given a brief demonstration of where they are located and how they work, however they are now included in your Legal Method – go to: ELITE > My ELITE > My Courses > GDL Legal Method 09/10 > [left hand menu] Unit 3 Legal Problem Solving > [link at bottom of page] Unit 3 – Legal Problem Solving > Library i-Guides.
For all other students, you’ll find these invaluable guides in the My library area of Elite. We hope you enjoy using them and would appreciate any feedback you might have too. Send your comments to natasha.skeen@lawcol.co.uk
