The link below will take you a PDF of this month’s purchases here at the Birmingham library. They are all available for loan (provided they’re not already) and as of Wednesday 1 April all loans and renewals will be due back after the Easter Break.
Please remember if you can’t find what your looking for on our shelves, we’re happy to receive your suggestions for new titles.
Don’t forget the clocks go forward on Saturday night!
This weekend our opening hours are:
- Saturday 28 March 12 – 6pm
- Sunday 29 March 12 – 6pm
Please note we are open for one hour longer on each day as it is an LPC study weekend.
The library catalogue (WebOPAC) will be undergoing an essential upgrade over the Easter break. Please observe the following points:
- You will be able to search the catalogue
- You will not be able to renew books
- You will not be able to reserve books.
Any 3-day loans taken from Wednesday 1 April and 7-day loans taken from Friday 27 March will be due back Mon 20 April, so theoretically no-one should need to renew any items during the break.
Normal service will be resumed on Monday 20 April (hopefully… I think we’ve all got at least one techno-nightmare story to tell – usually something along the lines of “the computer crashed and lost all my work”). I hope I haven’t jinxed it!
Can’t find the books you’re looking for? Have a word with your information officer about purchasing items for the library that will be of use both now and for future students. All reasonable suggestions will be given the fullest consideration.
Email Natasha.skeen@lawcol.co.uk or ask for me at the library counter.
A note to let you know that the Tuesday 12 – 2pm drop-in clinic in the library with the Westlaw Rep Michael Carter will now be moving to Wednesdays from 11am – 1pm.
Michael will be available for any assistance or queries you may need answering concerning using the Westlaw database. The Thursday 12 – 2pm clinic remains the same.
As this weekend is an LPC study weekend our opening hours are:
- Saturday 7 March 12 – 6pm
- Sunday 8 March 12 – 6pm.
