The Library will be running a series of legal research workshops in early September.  The workshops are designed to support LPC students with their Practical Legal Research, but they are open to all students who wish to attend. 

The first workshop is an introduction to printed legal research using Halsbury’s Laws, Halsbury’s Statutes, Current Law and the Digest.  The second workshop is an introduction to electronic legal research using LexisNexis Butterworths and Westlaw databases.

    The workshops are voluntary, but places are limited to 20 students per session.  If you would like to attend a workshop, please contact the library to sign up.  You can contact the library in person, or by telephone (01483 216041) or email (library.brm@lawcol.co.uk). 

    Please note that only students who sign up can attend the workshop.  Also, students who sign up, are expected to attend workshops, or give notice of cancellation, so that their place may be offered to another.
